¡Por fín, en a penas, un día daremos comienzo a Mayo!Los días son más largos, por lo que podemos aprovechar para después de una semana larga de duro trabajo, dedicar el fin de semana a desconectar un poco, y acercarnos a ver cualquiera de las propuestas culturales que en este mes se nos ofertan. Después, terracita y cenita con los amigos.

Este mes viene tan cargado de eventos que ha sido complicado poder seleccionarlos. Tal vez, en la elección, echéis de menos la retrospectiva de Dalí en el Reina Sofía o la de Manuel Álvarez Bravo en el Guggenheim de Bilbao, pero con el post de hoy pretendemos dar más voz a exposiciones diferentes y que quizás no tengan la misma repercusión que las anteriormente mencionadas.

This month is so full of events that it has been difficult to select. The Dali's retrospective at the Reina Sofia or Manuel Alvarez Bravo at the Guggenheim in Bilbao are some of them, but with today's post we try to give more voice to different events that may not have the same impact.

La exposición patroncinada por el grupo de investigación Paisaje Cultural de la ETSAM nos acerca a las edificaciones dedicadas a la generación de energía y nos propone una visión diferente, en torno a lo cultural, la estética, la conservación, el patrimonio y la funcionabilidad.
Cultural Landscapes of Energy, La Arquería de Nuevos Ministerios, Madrid. Until 31 May. The Cultural Landscape ETSAM research team show us some photographs about the buildings which generate energy. This team propose a different view about the cultural, aesthetic, conservation, heritage and functionality.
Homenajeando al arquitecto Oswaldo Román, promotor de la bienal fallecido recientemente, esta exposición coge el testigo de Medellín 2010 y Cádiz 2012 para poner de manifiesto los progresos de la arquitectura iberoamericana actual, desde trayectorias de arquitectos hasta publicaciones y trabajos de investigación.
Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism. Casa de America Frida Kahlo Room, Madrid. Until 28 May. Paying homage to Oswaldo Roman, recently died, and developer of the biennial, this exhibition show by photographs the progress of current Latin American architecture, with the biography's architects, works and research publications.

100 Jahre Galerieverein- Freunde Des Kunstmuseums Winterthur, Winterthur. Hasta el 28 de julio. En Winterthur están de celebración, el primer centenario del museo satélite del Kunstmuseum de la ciudad. Desde la Galerieverein - Freunde organizan esta exposición donde se muestran obras pertenecientes a sus propios fondos, donde destacan nombres como Monet, Mario Merz, Wenke von Bishop o Richard Deacon.

Peter Linebaugh, profesor de la Universidad de Havard, entre otras, tratará sobre las múltiples funciones que la ciudad ha llevado a cabo a lo largo de su historia, defensiva, representativa, comercial, núcleo aglutinador de servicios, etc., pero a la par, como el espacio joven, adaptado a las necesidades de la sociedad actual.
